I wouldnt say rush is better than iron maiden, but its all a matter of opinion, really.

I think rush is an overplayed, overrated group in my honest opinion, thanx to FM radio.

still maiden is leagues better than rush, better vocalist in dickinson, better bass player in steve harris..... better guitarist(s)...... the only thing rush has going for them is neil peart.

Trying to talk metal with a kid who can't stop spouting off about metalica, megadeath, or rush, is like trying to talk literature with some one who won't shut up about Stephen King. In other words your loved little bands are like musical McDonalds cheese burgers, with mass appeal. That is truly low to people who have been listening for a while and know the really good bands that would just scare a kid like you.

Just how do you suppose that you know of and have heard more metal than me? On what do you base this? Age? You have absolutely nothing to base this on, so it's really quite a worthless thing to say. Not that I consider myself to be the human wikipedia of metal, and my itunes library only holds 13129 songs, but judging from what you've said in other threads, I don't exactly see you setting the world on fire either.

Speaking of age, in your thirty years, have you not learned how to identify a question? Go back to my previous posts and look for this character ( ? ). When you locate one, read the words to it's left, for it is there that you will find my questions. This is a common practice in the english language. When a question is asked, a question mark ( ? ) is found at the end of the sentence. Furthermore, you can use said character by holding down a shift key, and pressing the appropriately labeled key, found directly to the left of your right side shift button. ( Exact location may differ on some keyboards)

Your age should stand for much more than how much music you've listened to. Whether you realize it or not, it's not impressive or whatever in the least. Hell, in your thirty years, one would expect you to know how to spell Megadeth. A historian, after thirty years would know how to spell "Hitler" regardless of how little they cared for him. I must agree that Panzer must know metal more than you as he was here during the metal era and you were still a baby or even something else..I'm sure that Panzer must already know all the songs that are on your itunes,even the nsync ones..and everyone already knows that you are afraid of good bands..

 

Metallideth - you may or may not notice but i post a lot less on what used to be my favourite forum because every time i enter a topic i find you preaching your self opinionated bile to others. You seem more than capable of bringing megadeth (don't know if i spelt it correctly and couldn't give a monkey's left bollock to be perfectly honest, it has NOTHING to do with one's knowledge of metal!) into everything and arguing the toss that the music you like is considerably better than that of others.
Does panzer know more about metal than you? well, he's certainly been around to actually see the progressions and changes in metal music. the second paragraph of your last post was a sad stab at sarcasm, was unrelated to this topic's content and really brought out the twat in you.
