Cropped Sweater Vest/ Wrap skirt converts to dress?

In my opinion those cropped sweater vests are super cute on the right body type...So, I wanted to try to make one of my own. This is just a trial to see if my pattern works..I need to still add something to the neck, sleeves, and hemline...I'll update later...


Here is the final finished product. I just used Bias tape for the trimming...I think I just need to tweek the front of the vest a little and I have myself a winning design!!

well, it kinda works...it looks cute, but I want to somehow make a up a new pattern to make it convert nicely...this wrap skirt I made months back hangs funny in the rear when I put it on as a dress....hmmmm...NEW IDEA THOUGH...​
