James Brown died today

Today the world has lost its funk.

 

yeah man

 

he died on christmas!? how terribly sad...how did he died?

 

I think he died of heart failure at 73. I guess when your that old its just a mater of time.

 

i used to listen to him when i was younger. my mom out put an old record of him on and me and my grandma would dance to it. but when you gotta go, you gotta go

 

i heard about that today i told my mom, she wasn't happy

 

Pneumonia caused by bad teeth and lots of drinking and smoking and staying up late
Great man ! the above is what the BBC Radio 4 news said

He seemed to put something into his songs - well that you just cant explain really - something more went into his songs than 99.99% of any singer has ever given to a song

 

I saw him live this year, great show.

We still got P-Funk, that's all we need.

My dad wasnt happy about the fact he died...

 

He was spritely for his age, bit like my grandad apparently...
