I agree. I didn't see the point in closing down such threads. Isn't it possible to just change the name...Seems slightly retarded.

 

good point, but also (as I found out on other forums) a random looking title attracts readers (sorry skip, This is my own personal experience).

i only read the threads that sound interesting. which is usually the random titles.

but if i hold my mouse over the title, that shows me the begining of the thread.
really THAT is what makes up my mind.

This forum, like random thoughts, is more of a community than a discussion board... yet again, having relevant titles has never hurt anybody... put forth the effort.

Why is posting random titles such a bad thing? It's not like its a huge deal if we read a random title and it has nothing to do w/ the post. If that happens to me, I just easily click the back button and go to another one.

I actually view posts more by user than what the title says.... and I agree with Pavel in how we're more oriented as a community.

 

I think there are only a select few that are really into this forum because it's so random and there isn't any real conversation, save for a few posts here and there.

But if ADHD should have a forum, this would be it (since that random forum is gone). So I'm torn. hahah
