Anyone going?????? This will be my first one and I've been trying to get there for a few years now, so I'm looking forward to it. Last year I was working at Red Rooster in Katherine and the year before I was with the family in Perth. Maybe I should try easter too. So is anyone from here going?
Bilby! It would be great to take you, but I'm bringing someone from Melbourne already. Sorry about that, it would be absolutely fantastic to meet you .... after all, I have been sharing forums with you for two years ..... or three, maybe? Something like that.
Geez that was a great 5 days - and it was absolutely wonderful to meet you Dario. I haven't taken to reality very well yet .......
G'day all, I thoroughly enjoyed this event, and it was really cool to meet Adam and Bilby from this thread. You can read my thoughts on confest on my personal web site at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Larrikin70 or at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/YoungAussieNudists Kev and myself are already planning a return trip for the Easter one in April - hopefully I'll be able to make some more new friends and do a few of the workshops.
You were there Bilby???? Glad you could make it ..... but I wish I had bumped in to you. I also met Fagin the Pagin who I really really enjoyed bumping in to on very random occasions. I had a feeling he'd have a very entertaining personality! A bit like me if you will, but a bit more controlled! Or something like that .....
I was camped in a blue and grey dome tent in car free close to the nearest fire circle to where you get off the punt. I ended doing about eight hours on the gate. I kept telling people when they came in how nice it was in there. When I went to my first Confest in 2000/2001 the car free area was packed out and Gypsy was all spaced out. These days it is the other way around. So where were you guys camped? I did put up a notice on the notice board (up the top right) but by Saturday the ink had had washed off in the rain. Did any of you guys get in the mudbath? I did for one day. I find a bit hard to breath in the steam tent. Did you go to any interesting workshops?
I don't know where I was camped. When people asked, I said woop woop. It was always I nice walk home though. I went in the mud every day - sometimes twice of three times a day. I planned to do many workshops but I liked having no idea what the time was and I passionatly wanted to not know the time, so I only attended one workshop and it was one I planned which was a guitar playing one where you share songs with people. I also couldn't breath in the steam tent. I didn't go right in there. The hot tub was good though
