James Brown has had a huge influence on my own music. His career has long been over, but nonetheless, it is sad to see him go.
When did he die somehow I missed it. He was one of those talents that you could say his name and there were very few people who didn't know who you were talking about. It is so sad that he passed.
James Brown was one of my favorite soul performers.. he died on Christmas day..today..I feel sad Tiger He was suffering from pneumonia and passed away at 1:45 a.m. (0645 GMT), on Christmas Day, at Emory Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta after being admitted there over the weekend, his agent, Frank Copsidas disclosed
Tiger sorry for the ignorant question about when he died I have been up since 0400 here in the U.S. and it is now 0819 here. Nothing was said on the radio on my way into work. I share your sadness though I a sure yours is much deeper then mine.
I saw him this year... I made sure to go to the concert because I expected him to die this year... for some reason I felt it. He was jivin' in the concert though... great performer.
