I also like Kandinsky. He is my second favourite. He has a way with paints. It is not always a picture but is a vision of colour.
i'm fond of the pre-raphaelite artists, but i really dig some Mucha! Bosch is pretty psychedelic, along with Dali and Munsch i also find Beardsley's work to be quite intricate and compelling with his graphic style - just look at "salome" - gorgeous!
I either like Monet or a 15th century Italian artist called Carravagio; he paints religious subjects in high lights and low darks. Always has a sense of drama to his paintings and vivid contrast in tones. :jester:

There are very few I don't like. But one that none of you have mentioned is Chagall. His paintings have a childlike wonder and happiness about them.
Take a glance at my avatar, and you'll know who my favorite artist is...if not, kill yourself, because you know nothing about art.
I like Manet's portrait of a prostitute. I like most of Jean Basquiat and some of the urban impressionistic scenes prior to WWII. Since you haven't asked me why, I won't say it...
