Awesome I can go about the world now... what a great feeling... My Vietnam trip got pushed back to Jan 10th as thats when tickets were available but I have them! awesome I cant wait to go.... Mike...
YAY! I love and hate my passport. The picture makes me look like Bin Laden, but I like all the stamps I've collected
It's all about the stamps! And it you can get a Visa, that is an extra special bonus to the well-traveled passport!
Aye. It's not fair... because the UK is part of the UK, we don't get stamps for visiting European countries.
The UK is part of the UK!?! I know what you mean though in the EU you never get the stamps which sucks. My last passport the only stamp I had was for Malta even though I'd been all over Europe. I love getting stamps and as baileyparker55 said the visas are even better. Mine is filling up fast, off to Malaysia on the 25th so that'll be another one.
A visa is filling up a complete page, whilst they can put at least 4 stamps or even 6 on one if they bother. And visa are more expensive. My new passport is valid for 5 years, but with all those visa and stamps I probably need a new one in 2. It is all a money scam and all governments are in on it as they all seem to want to get a part of the monetary pie. Love, bird.
Where in Vietnam will you be going? I am in Cambodia myself at the moment, so we will be practically neighbours in a couple of days!
Hanoi in the north is where I'm flying into, then I'm getting picked up and will have a hotel in Haiphong.
If you ask them to stamp your passport in EU countries they will, but it's a case of remembering and whether the official can be arsed.
I'm sure you're having fun right now eating noodles and basking in the sun...and toying with death everytime you cross the road...
I heard on CNN that they will be bumping up the requirements to get a passport soon. What are the new requirements going to be? Do I just have to apply b4 the change, or do I have to recieve my passport b4 then?
