This is my 4-hour ambient mix with over 75 tracks in it! It took a while to make...carefully edited. Please take a listen and tell me what you think! The tracklisting is a virtual who's-who of the ambient/ambient dub/experimental sound world.

I've been wanting to do this for a long, long time...My way of paying homage to the great texture-paving pioneers and purveyors of these amazing soundscapes. I really hope you enjoy this...whether for spacing out or as a background wallpaper for your day/night...Peace!!

dude MAJOR props for a 4 hour ambient mix...that must have taken more patience then i could probably handle...full of great tracks, good work. p.s. love the inclusion of Sigur Ros near the end.

 

cool, i'll check this out. love ambient sounds for extended daydreaming.

made some ambient mixes myself a while back: "drifter trilogy". used cooledit (now adobe audition) to do the editing/mixing. arranged the tracks into the 'big movement' structure (the theme goes from organic sounding to electronic, etc.), and mixed in a lot of weird vocal samples. used voice clips from old-time radio shows, 'coping with difficult people' audiobook, philosophy lectures, dvd audio commentaries, interviews etc...

hopefully upload somewhere one day so you folk can dig it.
