This is really great and strange foriegn film which I love, starring Gael Garcia Bernal (he played Che Guevera in the motorcyle diaries, and is sooo sexy) and he plays a drag queen/actor looking for revenge on an old priest who molested him while he was a child. He is also looking for work as an actor. He runs into an old friend who was his first love. and at the end there is a huge twist. But i wont say anymore anycase you havnt seen it. Has anyone seen this, if so what did you thin? If not i strongly reccomend it... and when you see it tell me what you think.
I do not think that it was Gael's best role, but probebly and defenatly his most challanging one. The movie itself was really good, but it felt like it was trying to imprint the fact that the priest possibly made his gay with the molestation too much. Plus, it's rather ironic that the movie came out within a close yearspan as the priests were caught molesting kids in the U.S.
A little too decadent and disturbing for my taste. I can totally understand why someone would like it though!
