I found out that my boyfriend lied to me, again. We have been going out for over 6 months. When we first started dating (a few months into it), his friend decided he didnt like me (for no good reason, I was always nice to him) and talked bad about me, so I asked him to stand up for me, and he said he did, and that he would stop going there altogether, because he would rather be with me. I never asked him to do that all I asked was for him to stand up for me. Just a few weeks ago, I tell him, that I want him to talk to his friend again, I just want him to take up for me if anything bad is said, and he said no, he wouldnt apologize and he has no respect for you and I am not talking to him. When we have argued and I ask him if he really loves me he says that he does or he wouldnt have gave up his best friend for me. Well...I found out that he has been talking to him this whole time and lying to me, not like he hasnt lied to me before, and now I feel completely betrayed. I am thinking that this may not work...
It is a lie yes...but somehow it is a compliment too to you..he is trying to please you. and yes without loosing his friend...ok..you later told him he can speak to him..Maybe he thinks you understood it wrong and got too angry about it.. He also might have met him, and the latter apologized for him..but did not want to tell you..because at that time you were not feeling ok with his friend yet. Could also be: that because he is his friend..he just can not cut him off completly..i mean..no matter how i stopped being a friend to some one..and he comes trying to talk to me..will then answer him or be with him but not on the same level as before..not as a very dear friend any more..Can not kick the man ass because he is talking to me.. Come oooon - Take it easy.
The guy actually started the problem when he said she means so much to him that he stopped talking to the guy all together. Yeah, he lied. I think he just didn't know what else to say or do.
