I have recently received a San Pedro Cactus plant. From this plant I cut a branch about 8-10 inches across. Although many methods say that you should boil it, what about just eating it raw? I de-spined and skinned the cactus branch I cut and washed it and now it is in the fridge. Is it better or worse to eat the cactus as a cucumber once de-spined and skinned? I did try using a blender a couple days ago and made 30 fluid ounces but it didn't get me high. Yesterday I boiled some cacti in water after blending it again and created some liquid which produced somewhat of a feeling but still not much. Should I just eat the cactus I recently de-spined and skinned as a cucumber? Is it just as potent as boiling, if not more (I heard that most people boil it because they could not stand to eat raw cacti, but to me the taste is bearable)?
I saw someone do that before. Put salad dressing on it and ate a bowl full of little cubed cactus. I don't know what effect it gave 'em, though. It seems many people can't choke enough down raw to get much out of it.
How much would you need? I have a foot (12 in.) long cacti all cut up and ready. I have read that this is prefered for a good long trip, but I may need more for just eating it wrong.
I attempted a foot long cutting of SP once. Ewwwwwwww..... Not worth it. Try torch, dried and powdered is good. Extraction is best. I've read a foot is good too, but it did very little for me and it was from a reputable source.
I did the blending/drinking method and frankly it tasted like... soap I geuss. I couldnt drink enough to feel anything. Itd be nice to extract it into capsules and such.
Yea, I tried eating a foot-long cactus yesterday and it took me an hour to consume the whole thing. I felt a slight stoned feeling but nothing that great. I actually got a little sick later on that night. Is there anyway you can extract the mescaline besides using sodium hydrochloride, benzene, or any other base/solid? I have heard that if you put the cactus in a blender without water that it will become a fine powder in time, but I don't really want to chance it. I don't have much left!
yeah. since mesc is very soluble in alcohol, pick your fav, puree, and let soak (heat it all up in a corning dish, or stainless steel pot, for best results) . filter out the mush, and boil down. you now have a consumable concentrate.
