Well exactly. A fine wine is there for it's subtleties to be enjoyed. Enjoyment doesn't mean finding expensive ways of making yourself sick. If you want to make yourself sick there are many cheaper ways, like drinking meths or salt water, or sniffing glue or lighter fluid.

But why make yourself sick in the first place? Smells like masochism...

wine is used as an enhancer of food for cripes sake, not to get shitty [IMG]. moderation like the europeans folks. drink it slow with food. different wines go with different foods. many different kinds.

well its proven that a glass of wine a day actually has many health benefits. but for most kids in this country, it is laughable to expect them to drink just a glass a day. wine and everything else is forbidden and thus, kids rebel. they tend to go way overboard because they were never taught moderation. and than get shitty and don't drink for the enjoyment and taste. but many fine dishes include wine, maybe even some you have had.

I find a good way to not get hangovers is eat a lot a few hours before drinking (let the food settle in stomache) and than once you are done drinking for the night, drink a few glasses of water, take a shower, glass of water. and don't go to bed right after drinking, stay up a few hours and feel yourself sober up. water water water, haha.
