Nah thats an easy one I notice all the time that I feel high even though I am not. Getting high is just being a mental state that you don't get into often sober. Being high is like when you are listening to a comidian who is really funny and after a while you just start laughing after everything he says, even if its not that funny. Or its like being really into a song for no particular reason. Thats just me, you could be seeing bats and manta rays for all I know And I really like your quote
