I've done a bit of research and read around the forums a little bit, and i was wondering, whats the risk of taking tramadol with asthma? I have asthma, not severe, hasnt acted up in years, but i have it nontheless. I was hoping you guys could let me know the risks of Tramadol with asthma, and if Tram. is safe in general as well. I have never poped pills or anything, just large sums of cannabis and alcohol. Thanks. -Nick
I have asthma too, and I have taken tons of tramadol.....800+mg, on occasion, and never had any problems. Don't start that high though. Take maybe 250-350mg for your first time, I would say.
What about other risks of Tramadol are there that I should know. You seem to be rather experianced with it. I know its synthetic meaning its not natural, which also kind of frightens me of an allergic reaction.
I'm not sure, as I have never had problems with it. It is actually pretty mild, compared to other opiates/synthetic opioids, so I don't think you will have a problem as long as you start low, as I suggested. If you're really worried about it, tramadol lasts a long time, so you would have plenty opportunity to boost your dose, if you need to, and just start lower than I recommended.
How does it make you feel, I dont want to get my hopes up if its not going to be something great, and I dont want to go in thinking "this is gunna suck" then feel blown away...actually that wouldnt be too bad now.
It will make you more talkative, if nothing else. The best way to get a buzz from it, is to sit back in a comfortable chair or lay in bed, It always makes me feel like I'm sinking into the chair/bed, because the buzz really kicks in and you're so relaxed, but not all that sleepy, if at all. I mean, it's nothing amazing, but definitely worth your time.
