I actually joined this site because I wanted to know how to make dreads. In the last one year my hair began to dread(automatically) because i never combed it. I tried forming it more and more everyday after washing it to look like real dreads. My hair looked nicer and nicer. Then what happened is that my hair looked messy and the dreads stopped developing. So I said to myself "either I learn how to maintain dreads or i'll have to cut my hair. So I went on the internet, found this site and just now(three o clock in the morning) I have finnished dreading my hair. Thanks to this forum for your tips.

I was scaired to dread my hair today because I dont want to look ruff-as a person I want to look friendly or not-harmfull. However when i was making my dreads it was as if my wish was working with my hands. My dreads ended up looking very neat and not fuff as I feared. I also didnt need any rubberbands, wax, vineger, salt etc. I just used water and my big-black hands.(what a waste of money on the rubberbands. what shall I do with them?)

Once again thanks to you all.
