aiden got my stomach virus that i had......... i feel like a terrible mother...... i had the virus shane had and now aiden has it. he got it on thursday and friday morning at 3 he woke up and started crying while holding his tummy then he came over and layed on me and just threw up all over my tummy......... i switched shirts and cleaned him up then he puked all over me again. then he pooed liquid poo so we rushed to the e.r to see if they could do anything to settle his stomach. but they couldnt so they put an iv in him (which took three tries and 5 people including shane and i to hold him down) he was unhappy. but he needed the rehydration cuz this virus just dehydrate the hell out of you. well we stayed there from 3 30 am to 1030 am and they had given him saline and potassium (cuz his potassium levels were down) and the whole time we were in the hospital waiting room he had a few more liquid poos. well when we left he was doin better and shane and i were exhausted cuz we didnt get alot of sleep.

well saturday aiden was feeling a bit better and we were letting him some food bananas, rice, he had a slice of pizza at his girlfriend's b-day party . then the same thing happened at the same exact time 3 am sunday. so we again took him to the er and spent four hours in the waiting room with a screaming baby. each time he had to poo he would start screaming and crying cuz it was like liquid acid coming out. we finally were seen at 730 in the morning by a different doctor and he was just saying to give him lots of liquids and a bite to eat here and there. we were supposed to catch a flight to wisconsin at 1 but decided not to and to let aiden recover and we fly out on tuesdat at one and hopefully aidenwill be better.

he has been sleeping alot like this morning he wanted to wake up and eat and play shane told him that its not time to wake we need to rest so that we feel better and that we dont have to get another needle in the arm. (he knows the word needle pretty good now after seeing it in his arm) so he alyed back donw and slept for another 2-3 hours. i just feel so horrible like its my fault for letting him get sick i did everything your supposed to do when your sick plus more......

i washed my hands i sprayed lysol on every damn surface i made sure not to be near him if i was going to sneeze or cough. and today aiden has been doing alot better he has been eating a lil more and drinking lots and lot of pedialyte as long as it's in a big boy cup. his poo is not so liquidy its more creamy which is good and he hasnt thrown up yet...... so we will see this morning how he will do. thanx for letting me vent.

don't feel too bad, families are supposed to share[IMG]. Just kidding. Skye hasn't been feeling very good either. Hasn't been as bad as what your family has had, but he has no appetite, he's been sleeping a lot during the day and not a lot at night, and has been really cranky. I think a lot of it has to do with him teething some more. Hope you and your family are feeling better.

I'd pump him full of garlic, echinacea, and vitamin c. Also, offer water as often and he'll take it. And if you are up to it, and still producing, maybe offer him some boob juice? It'll help him get better, and get nutrients that he's losing so quickly.
