Bitchin' Christmas Presents...

So, I'm sure some people have gotten early Christmas presents, and we're almost all bound to get some pretty cool shit... and of course, there's the stuff we've already bought/plan on buying for other people. Here's the thread for it. Also a good way to get ideas for friends/family if you're stuck for ideas.

So far, a friend that also has a lot of piercings got me a pair of 1/2" plugs, they're solid steel with little black widows on them. A bit small for my ears, but still awesome. My sister-in-law told my husband that they got us a pyrex pipe (she doesn't smoke, but her husband does) and a few other things. I got a burnt CD from the same friend that got me the plugs, it's a guy named Beer Can Dan that used to live in the town that she lives in now (a friend's brother - he killed himself before she got to meet him) and local music is always good. My roommate is paying for me to get my third lip piercing, and we might go in together to buy my husband a 12" sub (Sony Xplod) for his truck, and I've already gotten him a few things. We'll probably get him (the roommate) a pack of Djarum blacks (clove cigarettes) and a glass pipe or something. We were looking for a movie for our niece and nephew, one that they wouldn't already have, and I found... Fraggle Rock! Friends in other towns (that I have to send stuff to), we'll probably send them a small bag of coffee (Oso Negro or Kicking Horse) with an eighth of weed stuffed down the middle in a plastic baggy (the best way to mail weed in Canada, haha). My friends are also huge fans of the mix tapes that I make, so I'll probably be sending some of those, too.

So far, those are the things we've gotten early and the things that we've gotten/are getting for friends.

 

give me a budget and tell me where you are getting that sub/amp ect... more info I will find better components for the same price at the same place... sony explode subs=suck (ask anyone who knows about car audio they will agree).

Yes, he already has an amp and a sub, but it's a 15" and it's WAY too much for our truck (it's a two-tone brown '85 Jimmy).
He likes Sony Xplod's because they're fairly cheap and you CAN make them sound good, if you know what you're doing. He sure does. We're not rich by any means, and we have a killer house stereo built out of what used to be shitty-sounding speakers.

And yes, he has an amp. I think it's a 760W and he got it practically-free from somebody that didn't want it/doesn't even have a vehicle (the guy got it free from his roommates when they got a new one). We don't want to blow away the neighbourhood or anything, anyway. Quite honestly, we listen to mostly Country and Reggae, anyway. He just wants something better than what's in there now.

And there's another bitchin' gift I forgot about. My dad (he lives in Florida) sent us a Sirius with a year's subscription already paid for and activated. It should be here soon. And he sent us a $200 "weed money" cheque that we already got. We can't wait for the radio, though, because we only get one station here... it's a pop station, and we get terrible reception 'cause we live in the mountains.

 

I got my mom: fuzzy handcuffs for her & her gf, & some pot
I got my dad: a cup thats has a chipmunk on it that says "Hellooo ladies." and the chipmunks nuts are hanging down
I got my brother: a chess set
my friends: i got two friends crosses(one was a statue, the other was hangable), 2 trinket boxes(one was bowl shaped, the other was a square box)..5 statues of random things that reminded me of my friends..lip gloss, glass rose, and a tshirt (for one of my friend's christmas & birthday present)..

I've recieved: a big stocking full of make up & nicknacks, a handmade stocking, a stocking full of candy, 2 games of bowling, and 3(4??) christmas cards. I'm easily happy with a christmas card than regular gifts..it's sentimental value that counts..and i still have some more gifts to get for my friends..that i won't be able to get until after christmas.

This is my favorite time of year, i went out and bought all sorts of things for christmas..i even got named an elf..god knows i'm short enough to be one!

i maade my mom a jewlery box in ceramics class. since i wount see my dad from tommorow till the 28th, we had christmas dinner and opened some presents with him last night. i got a double bass pedal for my drums from my brother and that game guitar hero. damn im gonna go play that game.

 

Knowing my friends, Im probably gonna get an assortment of tobacco products or some adderlol and share the joy : ]

 

havent got anything yet from family

a buddy of mine came over last night and gave me a bottle of johnny Walker Blue label though, so i will be enjoying that tonight after my last final

Dad: Capo and nice new guitar strap for his new guitar
Mom: Handblown fish orniment from a local head shop
Girlfriend's mom: Same as my mom, but a colorful orb thingy
Brother: Nice engraved zippo (He keeps lighting his hair on fire lighting his cigs off the stove)
Friend's: Hookah tobacco, Betty Page Porno (hilarious), stuff i made like necklaces and scarfs and hats.

The only thing I know I'm getting is the Ali G show complete set. Fucking pummmped.

 

i'm getting guitar hero for christmas too. it's so fucking fun
