I wanna see the naked cupid guy running through the streets I missed him the last new years eve I was there. Anyone know where I can score free VIP passes to any of the new clubs? Well, bring your coat this year. We've been in the 30's this early. 32 last week in fact.
Same Strip party far as I know. You gotta KNOW somebody to get those invites. I don't know anyone. Srry.

it's 32 ): ahhhhhh man...ah well I am guessing I won't care about the temperature that night heheeeh.

You really gotta know somone to get in the clubs on the 31st? That really sucks. About 50 people are staying at my friends friends house so hopefully somone will know somone if not they're having a party at the house but I really wanna go out ):

yaya that would be cool if he did. I just talked to my friend and Ryan (the guys house who were stayin at) would be kinda pissed if we went out and didn't stay for the party so we're gonna hang at the house on new years eve with his friends and then hit the clubs on the 30th and on new years.

But if there was something really cool and easy to get into that would be freaking awesome to go to the strip after midnight

Well, I just read this. But I am no longer into the club seen. That is really for the kids. Sorry, maybe I should phrase that differently. It is for the younger generation. I am 42, and actually, I find New Years Eve a party for rookies. I no longer go out on this night. Havent since before they closed off Fremont St., and how many years ago was that? I still remember one or two years before they closed it off, I went there on New Years Eve and had bottles breaking at my feet. It was crazy. You know, I go out into my backyard underneath my aluminum awning and at midnight, I listen to all the gunshots and the bullets falling and hitting my awning. Again, this night is totally ridiculous and therefore I stay in and celebrate inside the comfort and safety of my own home. So sorry, I might have a few contacts for some of the rock music clubs in town, but not the clubs I think you may be looking for.

That's okay. Thanks for the help Zilla. I'm 45yrs and disabled.
I never went to those things anyway. I'm not really a people person.
    I don't hang out much. I'm a homebody. Plus, I'm disabled.

well ... i can't help either ... we just moved here (like 80% of the people here in the valley!) ... but i've been here for NYE for the past 4 years ... always watchin' the fireworks from the hotel room windows ... this year the party's supposed to be at the Aladdin, but i dunno ... i just may pass on the party and stay home, warm and toasty and sleeping in n. las vegas! does this mean i'm getting old or does it mean i'm just over dealing with superficial drunk people who can't have a conversation beyond paris hilton's latest blunder? some for me to contemplate over the holidays!

and yes, ITS COLD HERE! who knew ... coming from so cal ... i never imagined how COLD it can get here ... crazy cold without precipitation ... not like detroit that has some lovely snow to go with these temperatures!

Here's a very informative link to the club and lifestyle scene in Las Vegas. They list every party, club, concert event or anything you could possibly think of (with reviews) they should however, consider a different domain name......

    http://www.americanlowlife.com

It's free and the couple who run it are....Interesting to say the least. Hope this is helpful.
