    its safe to say trey is an idiot but anyone who rips on him for taking pills should get a life, are you going to hate on jerry for smoking $100,s upon $100's werth of persian every day.

    this is no big deal. yes, people under the influence should not operate vehicles, but this is not an evil act by anymeans. lets cut the guy some slack, the monsters over at PhantasyTour are just ripping him apart. god i hate those people.

    Why a bike ass well.
    That would mean i am an idiot as well, just like most other dutch youth.

    But well, I am not really astonished that Trey uses drugs to be quite honest, wasn't heroin one of the reasons Phish broke up, or at least I read that once.

    It's shulgin's quote, not mine, and he said he'd biked under influence himself.
    I guess it's because of judgement calls and how easily some other driver can make a BIG accident with a bicycle.
    I have see police in parts of teh US ticket and arrest people for drunken bicycling, and the charges can stick! (don't know what they could revoke, you were NOT behind the wheel of a car)

    But shulgin is the granddaddy of the RC generation, so his thinking is automatically oriented toward those substances.


    as for WHAT Trey had on him, that's no surprise, because he loved opiates (like Jerry).

    at a Phix (tribute) show last night, people were carrying around pieces of paper with his arrest photo!
    and the band was unusually sluggish at points, like the era I stopped seeing the original band. coincidence or a real tribute?

    people were having great fun though. Good night. (I'd stopped in for part of it)

    lots of people including many on this site live in glass houses and shouldn't throw stones.....DUI of anything is BAD but leave Trey alone unless you have never done anything imperfect and if you haven't....SHADDAP.

    I hate to see anyone get arrested for anything but it happens. I liked what rphishin said. who are we to judge?

    I just hope Trey is in good health and lives to be 140 years old.

    dude put himself out there as a celeb of some stature, therefore his indescretions will be public. It's the price you pay for that kind of sucess.
    I have plenty of buddies and friends with some hair raising stories, I have a few of my own. It's life.
    If you can't deal with gods with feet of clay...well.... the Net will be a painful place.

    better this be discussed here, where sympathy/ admiration for talent runs high than in people so the metal heads can just bash the music.
