Hey guys (merged with) what should I do?

I'm actually not too comfortable with disclosing my age. I'm really sorry. But I gotta stay safe.

 

I need your guys help again. You guys have been so nice to me and you've helped me so much. There is this senior guy at school. His name is Steven. Lately it seems like he's been talking to me more and flirting with me. One time at church I caught him staring at me from the other side of the room. Later this week he asked me if I wanted to come over to his house. He didn't give me a reason, but the way he said it made me realize what he wanted. The problem is that I was tempted to say yes! But of course I said no. I could never betray Garrett. Steven is pretty handsome, but not as handsome as I think Garrett is. And I could only love Garrett. I love Garrett more that anything. I want to be with him always. The thing is I a have been feeling really guilty lately about what has happened. I feel guilty about Steven flirting with me. And I feel horrible about thinking he's attractive. I love Garrett so much. I feel like I should tell him about what has happened. After all I want to be honest with him. But I don't want to hurt him. What do you guys think I should do?

It sounds like you have a really good thing going with Garrett. Only you can answer your question, but I would never risk my relationship with my wonderful girlfriend. She is everything to me. If somebody wants to flirt with me, I cannot control that person's actions. It's okay to feel a bit flattered- but if it crossed any lines I would politely tell the person I'm not single. You don't even have to say you're with Garrett if you two are not out yet- but I would throw into the conversation that I am seeing somebody. Nobody flirts with me- LOL - but everyone also knows I am madly in love!

I personally would tell my girlfriend, but that's just me. I never would ever want her to find out from somebody else and think that I was hiding things from her. I would want her to tell me, too. That's just us, though.

 

Okay, I'll tell Garrett. But nothing happened. I told Steven no. I'm just afraid how Garrett might react if he knows other guys are trying to get me. You see, it isn't just Steven. I have this Puerto Rican guy named Garry and this kid in my French class named Peter. And it seems like lately they've been talking to me more and hinting around. It was only Steven who asked me over to his house. To which I said no. Garrett's coming over in a little bit. I'll tell him then.

 

There's something I forgot to tell you guys. I actually did tell Steven I was seeing someone when he asked me over. But you see, he ignored what I said and kept insisting I come over. Said my boyfriend will never know. I still said no to him. I am going to make sure to tell Garrett that. Garrett should be over in a few minutes. I'm going to tell him everything.

 

Yes I WOULD tell him that- personally- tell him what you told us That's just me. Some might disagree but I am a very honest and open person and I would worry if I hid it and it came back then he would wonder why. You two sound like you have a great thing going! Enjoy it!

 

I told Garrett everything I told you guys. He got really pissed and I started to cry. All of a sudden he took me into his arms and told me that he wasn't mad at me. He was mad at Steven. He told me I shouldn't feel guilty because it wasn't my fault. Then he all of a sudden told me that he would be right back. He left a few minutes ago. I don't really know why. I asked him but all he told me was that he needed to go take care of something and that he would be right back and we could spend the night together. Where do you guys think he went?

 

Garrett came back. I finally know where he went. He went and kicked Steven's ass and told Steven to leave me alone. Garrett's gonna stay here for the rest of the day and night. What do you guys think?

 

Wow, well I hope I didn't give bad advice but he's not mad at you (he shouldn't be!) and I think that's great... I can't condone ass kicking, but if the guy wouldn't leave you alone, maybe he needed the hint.
