Who here has or still grows? Any one every buy a grow kit in America? Wheres a good place to get them? Can I use the dried shrooms I have now to grow more? Say anythign aobut growing you want. I'm interested in growing some to spread the love around, to friends and family. I want to remove money, and dealers from the whole thing, I think it will give it a better and hopefully more spiritual feel all together.
Well Im in the process, and have two successful grown in my basket. Sporeworks.com is a good site for spores. Yes, when you will have a single mushroom, you will have spores to continue on your own. Its is great. Doesnt take much time and is very rewarding . Coolest thing is when actual mushrooms have started to pop up, you can watch em evolve, hell you will go see em in the morning, then in the night, and growth will be very noticeable
i really wanna grow some 2. This spring im thinkin about growing some weed and it would b really cool to grow some shrooms. Is the best time for growing shrooms outside in the spring like all other plants? since they dont need much light i was thinking it may be different. Also is it better to grow them inside since u can control the enviroment better?
yeah inside is easier...Although if you get good outside the yield can become pretty amazaing . Just got 4 more syringes from sporeworks. Looks VERY professional. Burma, mazatapec, treasure coast and ecuador strains. Do you guys think its safe to log my stuff in a thrread?

A normal bulb would do it...I would just use a compact floro light like they sell at walmart. No biggy. And light is just for the fruiting part, 12/12
I saw that video awhile ago, but I saw it with a timer, I think its timelapse over 2 days. Anyway you need any old lightbulb for only like 2-3 hours a day and that will make them grow enough, more light does nothing.
12/12 The huge difference comes from ventilation in my experience though, air exchange in your tupper tub. The first ttime I got small ass mushrooms , good though, and the second I ventilated with a book everyday a few times and they were big ass.
Ya the shrooms need a lot of oxygen, they produce a lot of co2. The only problem with ventilating is sometimes you can cause contamination.
Colonized stuff is strong though, my room was so messy and it was ok. Ill start something tommorow using popcorn. Unpopped, but cooked . Then when this is colonized I will make it colonize loads of manure...think it will smell even if its pressure cooked?
i got a b+ spore syringe in the mail today...ill be growing stealth so hippie3's invitro is going to be used with standard pk cakes, ill post my grow log when im done
