1st time on tramadol

this is my first time to try pills ever. I took orally 50 mg of some tramadol I bought off my hash delear.
I am very excited. I'll keep you guys updated.

 

Probably won't feel much, if anything, from 50mg. I usually take at least 500mg, but have gone up to 800mg.

Have fun. I hope you get at least some effects from it.

 

didnt get any effects and eventually fell asleep 1 hourt after ingesting the pill.
I am trying it again with 100 mg tonight.
ps: how much does it useually take for tramadol to start having any effect

 

I'd say about 350+mg. 350mg is the amount my fiance took her first time and she felt nice.

 

no offense to anyone involved, but i would say regardless of the dosage estimates you may get from users on here, regardless of who they are and what you think of their opinion, you should dose lighter than that. i've asked what people here would think good doses for pills would be for a lightweight before and found myself nodding from less than their minimums for opiates! tolerance to this kind of stuff will alter personal perception of what is a low versus a high dose....many addicts take NUMEROUS pills a day...i'm talking double digits for some folks....so take everything with a grain of salt and be careful. best to err on the safe side and work your way up in small amounts to find the amount right for you rather than take too much.

 

^^^^ good advice, but I still wouldn't recommend anything under 350mg, even for a starting dose. It's not even really an opiate.....it's a synthetic opiate and it doesn't have any very pronounced effects. You will just feel relaxed when you are trying to relax, but if you're not trying to relax, you won't even feel anything from them, even at higher dosages. The only time I ever feel any effects from tramadol is when I am sitting back in a chair or lying in bed. I also talk alot, but that's about it.

Still, 350mg is a good starting dose.

 

so its an opioid (a synthetic or semi-synthetic opiate) and in the same class as hydrocodone, oxycodone, heroin, fentanyl, methadone, and a number of others. some are really strong, some are really weak. i've never taken tramadol and have no point of reference....but i do remember people advising 30mg of hydrocodone or oxycodone as a good "average" or "low" dose, and then me nodding off a bit around 20mg....

i dunno. i'm not saying you're wrong at all, just that if you dont have any personal experience for reference, its a good idea to take less than even the minimum recommended dosage initially, and work your way up incrementally until you find a pleasant but not overwhelming dosage. some people are more sensitive to drugs than others, which wont cause MAJOR harm with something like pot, mushrooms, or alcohol, but could be disastrous for something like pharmies, regardless of whether or not their opiates. one persons minimum is sometimes another persons overdose.

but like i said, i know little to nothing about tramadol and 350mg may well be perfectly fine, but if he took 100mg or whatever the first time i'd be likely to take 200mg the next time, and maybe take more if you dont feel much of anything.

 

That's true. The first time I did it, it was recommended that I take about 200mg. I took 200mg and didn't really feel anything, but that's me. I am quite used to pharms of all types, so that probably played a role in it. And kar33m hasn't taken any other pills, so maybe 200-250mg would be decent.

Also, are you a large, medium, or small person, kar33m? Size definitely plays a role in the dosage you need to take to get certain effects. I am pretty small myself, at 140lbs and 5'6", but I have had plenty of experience with pills, like I said.

 

Another thing about tramadol, is that it lasts a long time......a very long time, so there will be plenty of time to boost your dosage, if you need to.

 

I've been eating tramadol for at least ten years and I can still feel nice from 100mg. 200mg and I'm feeling really nice. 300mg is my max, and I weigh 170lbs

 

Damn dude. You're lucky. I usually have to eat at least 500mg to get nice and relaxed. I usually pop the first 10 pills in the first swallow and take more if I feel like it.

 

Honastly I don't do them to often and I almost never get my hands on any other pharmies, so that may have somthing to do with it too.

That's something I could NEVER do......chew up some pills. It's fookin nasty, especially since my favorite is xanax. Blegh!!

350mg's is the least I would ever take, but I dont take it anymore, havent in a few years actually because I got into OxyContin and MSContin, as well as continued use of Oxycodone and Hydrocodone. I would say the only opiod weaker than tramadol is Darvocet. Although with darvocet you have a much greater chance of dying without ever even being able to get high. If you will, which you probably wont, but if you will trust me, than trust me, Tramadol is not dangerous at 350mg's, unless you already have pre existing heart, liver, or breathing problems. Im not a doctor, but I do think I know my share of knowledge when it comes to opiates.

 

I have heard of people having siezures from even the recommended dosage of tramadol, but I have taken 16x the recommended dosage and never had problems, so the whole seizure thing is probably just another myth.

 

Oh yea, well I mean everyone is different, and every body could potentially have a pre existing condition that could lead to heart failure or seizures like you said, but Im speaking on behalf of people who are relativley healthy, without any problems, and if you've been checked out by a doctor and they say your good. Hell some people could be allergic also

 

tramadol is adictive shit

 

All opiates are I find alcohol to be just as addictive though.

 

nooooooo i've been getin drunk a lot but when i wanted a brake i culd take it when ever i want and tramadol has fucked up my friends dad very very bad now he is an adict
