Interesting conversation with my mom

So yeah I've known for awhile that my mom smokes. She's even invited me to join her a few times. But I've always said no. I'm already fucked up in the brain enough and I'm insane sober so, what's the point? lol...well yeah that outlook has changed recently. I've known all my friends to have smoked at one point or another, and I'm rather okay with being around them stoned, because I act stoned when I'm sober. Always happy..always laughing..etc..etc..I think I've had more ppl ask me if I was high when I'm sober than any other time. But anyways back to my conversation with my mom.

So I asked her what it's like when she gets high. And she explains that she's relaxed and in less pain etc etc..Which I understand. and I asked her if she's seen anything freaky and she's like no, i only do weed. I was like well i've heard that you can have freaky visions and such while high..and she's like yeah when you first start out. but after you've smoked for awhile you get used to it and they stop. And she was also giving me all this advice about how smoking less weed gives you a better high and what not. I think she's caught on that I smoke..LOL..but I dunno. It's okay if she knows but she has a tendency to be a loud mouth and I don't want my dad to know. I mean he already suspected..but that was way before i even started..haaha is it that apparent? I must've been a stoner in a past life..because i love old music, i love black light posters..i love crazy pictures..i'm a peace loving person..and I just dont feel like I belong in this century. too much crap going on..

Oh and I also want to know: Why is weed illegal? My mom says it's because the government can't control it and they can't tax it. But my question is why doesn't the government gain control of it. I mean it's gained control over tobacco, and tobacco is one of the biggest companies in the world. Would it be because people would buy more weedrettes than cigarettes? Would the jeopardize the monopoly we call the tobacco industry? I mean come on..there are millions of people that are addicted, I don't see how it could jeopardize anything. From what my friends say cigs & weed are like best friends, since a cig can 'extend' the high. (according to my friends..) and i'm surprised i'm making any sense.. probably not.. anyways that's my thought for the night..

 

your mom seems like a down to earth chill person. thats probably where you got it from.

and i say smoke with her...why not? if your dad already suspects it, and if your MOM told him do you really think he'll be THAT mad? plus it would be great bonding time, especially if your dad joined in

It's alot more complicated than that..and my dad would SO not get high with us. Military man, 20 years in the military and he doesn't even like my mom smoking but he handles it well. And he's a trip..I have all sorts of herbs in my room (oregano, parsley, etc...)and one day i was cleaning out the place I keep them all in and he picks up a bag of parsley and is like "Are you smoking weed..is this weed?" it was so funny because it was obviously not weed. But the grin on his face was priceless..i'll never forget it.

And I'm glad that my sig tripped you out.. it's supposed to LoL. I have a few other pics for when I get bored of that one..and yours trips me out aswell..i can't look at it without getting a headache!

I'm not a regular smoker. which i said in the beginning of my post..and i'm naturally curious..you can't tell me you've wondered some of the same things?? or maybe im just weird..

 

Your not wierd, I like you. I wondered some of the same things, but most people generally know the answers to those after they start toking, just like basic questions, like why it is illegal and I don't know, What it is like to be high. lol

there ya go . Yeah I was just wanting to see how she feels when she smokes so I can compare it to the way i feel.

 

oh okay, I know what you mean. Like when I smoke I feel like I'm on a higher consciousness, and I like it a lot better than alcohol. To me weed makes me feel like I'm in the fourth dimension, and alcohol makes me feel like I'm in the second dimension. Drinkings fun sometimes, like once a month or every two months, but its not that great

 

wow that sounds nice..i've only smoked with my friends..and all i really want to do afterwards is listen to soft music and dream of rainbows..i almost feel drunk..i was talking to one of my friends about it and she says that she feels the same way too. i'd def rather be high than drunk..no hangover after a night of smoking..but after a night of drinking..i can't move!

 

so, your somewhat new to marijuana? dont ever let every high be the same. i think when you hear about the "stoner" archetype those guys just get so used to being high and they start to get bored cause its allways the same, you know? you can learn so much, and just not like facts and what not but perspectives. thats my thing when i get high, new perspectives all the time.

smoke with your mom. it's only a big deal if you make it a big deal... i smoked with my mom for the first time this summer and it was HELLA fun! she rolls really fat joints. then she started giving me free weed too!

my dad used to do it, but now is pretty opposed to it, so i sort of understand your situation. i think you should smoke with 'er.
