Lately I've had a pretty regular cycle, I got my period around the same time each month, but this morning I got my period for the second time in one month. I'm pretty sure that's normal, but I've never experienced it before.

I just got back from spending the weekend with my friend at her camp, and I noticed she had some pads so I guess she was on her period, I've heard of women having their cycles match each others, but I always thought that took place when women were close over a prolonged period of time. Could this be a possibility?

I appreciate any replies! I'm not really worried, just puzzled...and a little pissed hahaha.

    Peace 'n Love

How many days has it been since the first day of your last period? And exactly how regular are your periods? Have you been keeping tracking on a calendar so you can look back over this year? And how old are you?

It's called menstrual synchronocity, and no, it doesn't necessarily takes weeks or months. It's based on smell (pheromones), and if you've already ovulated, the smell can induce your period. This has happened to me before..my period has arrived an entire week early simply because I was around someone (my sister, a close friend) who had their period.
