Hey guys, I am seriously (almost 100% sure) planning to go to Amsterdam by myself during Christmas break. I am interested in smoking a TON and checking out clubs/RLD each night until 6:00am or so while I am there. I will be staying at Bulldog's or some other big central hostel while I am there. I like being in the midst of people. Helps me recognize my hostel when I am too stoned to think straight Somewhere, however, I have read that most or all coffee shops are closed during the christmas days from Dec-24th until the 26th or something... That would totally kill my desire to go to Amsterdam during that time. And it is the only available time slot for me until next summer. So, what's the status of the coffee shops, red light districts, and night clubs like the Paradiso. I promise to buy a beer to anyone who helps me out in this regard and then looks me in 'Dam while I am there! Cheers!
Most everything, coffeeshops, bars, clubs, hookers, smart shops and night clubs are open and available during the holidays. Most coffeeshops never close for holidays. You wont have any problem finding good herb. I sure dont know where the rumor that things close down during the Christmas season comes from!? Come over and enjoy all that this great city has to offer. Peace.

Ive no idea what coffeeshops are like on christmas eve (or any other time for that matter ), you can actually find me in church around that time haha. But for Paradiso just check their site to see what's on and when, www.paradiso.nl
