Ok,Metallideth,this little fight can go on and on don't you think so??I will never accept what you say and you will never accept what I'm saying,even if we may both be right..So,let's say that Iron Maiden and Metallica are both speed metals and both are gods,not for speed metal,but for metal itself..do you still agree??I wanted to ask you something,you were talking about maiden's last albums,how do you find them??What do you think of the upcoming Metallica's album in 2007,I heard that it's worst than St.Anger..They played two songs of this album during a concert and the fans were not happy at all..you may here them at youtube..

 

I agree, especially about metal. Wikipedia is a wasteland, especially for metal.

 

I know but I wanted to show to Metallideth that Maiden did many speed metal songs but he just don't want to trust me..The other Metallica or Megadeth fans I've met agreed with me and it is the first time that I've heard someone who says that Maiden never did speed metal songs..Maybe you can please tell him that's he's wrong please..

 

Iron Maiden is not speed metal.

Metallica played a country song, does that make them a country band?

Anthrax played a rap/metal song, does that make them a rap/metal band?

Wtf man..I never said that Maiden was a speed metal band but that they did speed metals songs much more than Metallica and at the time they did those speed metal songs,they kicked ass,it is why I said that they are gods of speed metal...Maybe if I wrote it somewhere it is not what I wanted to say..I'm a great Maiden and I know that they are the best heavy metal(not speed metal)and now they are the best progressive heavy metal band..or simply the best metal band..Man,next time read well and try to understand..don't act as if you know more than me on metal..as you don't ..and Metallica should have stayed with the country songs instead of doing those crap songs hahahahahaha

Perhaps if you wrote what you meant to say there'd be no issue. How I love it when complete retards try to voice their opinion using words that "they dont mean" to use, and then boast that they are soo knowledgable.. You've said that maiden were speed metal multiple times, and now you claim that it's not what you meant. Regardless, maiden has sucked for over a decade now, they're more washed up than metallica. atleast hetfield and the guys are willing to take chances and change things up. You could combine every iron maiden song made since the early 90's and it would pretty much mix perfectly.

Maiden is lame shit. There's no getting around that. Fans singing to fear of the dark? I'm sure fans sing to "hit me baby one more time" too, brittney spears must be just as good as maiden.

Maiden has infact sucked since 1990, No Prayer for the Dying, Fear of the Dark, X factor, Virtual IX, Brave New World, Dance of Death and AMOLAD. Out of all those albums, you could take all the good songs and make one full length album, possibly a bit shorter.

Also, maiden concerts are the lamest most laughable thing EVER. Bruce changing costumes to match songs is about as gay as christmas.

maiden aren't bad, they do have a few good songs, but they're far from gods. Iron Maiden has been washed up since the 90's. Go on, fanboy, defend your idols... suck their collective ass.

Man, I have to correct you. May be not in your region, but here in Europe and South-America for example they truly are considered metalgods. I appreciate them higher than Metallica, who I appreciate also for some of their albums.
They have kick-ass songs on almost every album til the '90, that's what counts in my opinion.
That they haven't released a superb album since then does not make their older stuff less great.

 

You are right Asmodean,Maiden are truly considered as Metalgods..their old stuff were great..Number of the beast,7th son of a 7th son,Powerslave,Piece of mind etc..I must say that their last 3 were great too,but not as the old stuff..I think that they must be experementing something and will then make an album that will really kick ass..

 

You truly believe they're gonna make something better than Brave new world? I don't, and I didn't even like Brave new world very much.
