So my buddy has a voodoo vaporizer (sweet as hell, btw), and I was wondering: when the hose gets all resinated and/or brittle, and needs replaced, would standary vinyl tubing be acceptable, or give off some kind of nasty fumes? Also, what is a good temperature to set the thing at, those of you with experience?

I don't know if regular tubes are bad or not, but mine says FDA approved on it, which comforts me since most plastic shit makes me suspicious. I'd suggest cleaning the hose, especially with high proof alchohol. If you have enough resin/kief in there you can make a hash type extract out of that shit, and you will have a clean whip. Oh, and set the knob at like 12 o'clock or so.

btw, the resin that collects in a vaporizer kicks my fucking ass way better than regular resin. that shit should be kept, even if you dont normally go for that stuff.

Thanks for the tips. Btw, there's no temp. knob, it's a digital temp. readout. Been set at about 175-180*C
