Off to London for a bit. Should be back tomorrow, but probably won't be online 'til late. Why am I posting this? Meh, I dunno. A bit excited/nervous, it's been three years since I last went to London *screams "THREE YEARS!" at Sal *
Enjoy London..! You'll hate the crowds at this time of year, i fear. But it's a good old place anyway.
on the train back now, i love my wifi internts-enabled ds lite. the gig was good. i hate starbucks with a passion now. but they do make good hot chocolate
Waiting Room, featuring Mr Alan Fletcher (aka Karl Kennedy off Neighbours). I met him and got his autograph and a picture too
Yes. I met many. There are many women in the streets of London. All sarcastic comments aside, no. And I just decided not to post a big long pointless reply about my exploits because it'd be too long. I'll keep this brief. I basically visited some places this morning. The place where Jimi Hendrix lived near Oxford Circus, Saville Row where the Beatles did the rooftop concert at the old Apple headquarters, and Abbey Road. There are three or four zebra crossings on that bloody street, though, so I took pictures of all of them at random. I think I only got two of the album cover crossing. I took a picture of myself next to the Abbey Road sign and one of me crossing one of the crossings...which turned out to be the wrong one
Oh, on the way back I had a nap dream...you know when you're between being awake and asleep, and you start dreaming? I dreamt I made the best dog in the world with a friend...it was a Yorkshire Terrier with a beard. It was called Scruffy Bernard. Scruffy Bernard was able to grant wishes. Part of the wish-granting process involved the wisher tossing a coin which I would catch. Then I'd do a funn dance and reveal whether it landed on heads or tails, and this result told us whether the dream would come true or not. I've taken this as a sign, and now I carry my special Scruffy Bernard coin with me wherever I go, to grant wishes to people (only people that Scruffy Bernard likes though)
freaky! I was at that gig as well! And i got to go for free because our student radio station interviewed him and I won free tickets what an awesome gig it was damn we could have met up!
Yes, that takes a special kind of insanity... If you'd told me that Bruce Springsteen had come alive again and was playing a resurrection gig after declaring himself the new Messiah, I could almost - almost - understand it. But this? Baffling. Just... baffling
Sure is a small world. Whereabouts were you? I was around the middle, I was holding my big coat so I couldn't go anywhere around the front. I got to meet him afterwards though, because a friend bought a t-shirt that came with two wristbands to go backstage What did you think of Kirsty Crawford?
For one thing, he is still alive. For another thing, he's touring again soon. For another thing, he is the new Messiah.
Erykah invited me down, actually. She insisted it'd be a good show and I wouldn't regret seeing him. Hot piss on a stick, she was right! Jolly good show
