Saturday night, as I sleep under the beautiful full moon that we were blessed with on our Men's night in the woods, I had a dream. First, I drifted in and out of sleep for hours, not remembering when I actually "fell asleep", but i remember a "dream" I had. It was the same full moon night in the dream....and I was approached by a band of men, who convinced me to run with them in the woods....and to go to their home. The night was bright, and the men silhouettes, except the leader. As we all crossed this field, i looked into the bright sky and saw a few crows/ravens....And the leader of the band of men pointed his finger at them...to make sure I saw them....and when he did, the multiplied into a flock of a hundred of more birds that split into two groups...and the groups flew, I called to them, and pointed...with each point, the flocks continued to split, until the entire sky fluttered with black birds. No words had been spoken yet...just mind talk and signals...But in the end of the dream, I got to see the leaders face...as he spoke to me....I dont remember what was said...but he was bearded, and could only look at me with one eye at a time...If he looked with his right eye, the left eye went all the way left until only the white shown, and vice versa....I kept watching the eye that looked away...wondering where he was looking with it...but he would keep changing which eye he looked with.... And then I woke up right where I had begun....laying in the sand looking up at the full moon overhead... I see very many elements of death and wisdom in this dream..but wonder what the thoughts of the group might be. With Honor, Ogmios
I usually don't get involved with these types of things but I'm getting a feeling that I should. To make a long response short, important wisdom is coming to you from many different sources. You will have to peice it together but I have faith in you. Be careful though, don't ask me why but my spirit friend is urging that. I hope she is wrong. Take care, keep us updated.

Seems to me like the man was trying to warn you of something. He got to follow you because he cared, his other eye was constantly looking around for danger or things to come. As far as crows go, I have always heard they were death omens, but I am not completly sure. And another concept, have you considered odin? I know the guy you talked about had 2 eyes, but he was using one, and from what I've read Odin has always been associated with Ravens.
You got pretty close at the end there Mono...Odin and his Ravens are one of many examples of one-eyed magicians and the wise and knowledgeable messenger birth of the underworld, in Indo-European mythology. I know what the dream was, and its symbols....just wanted to share and listen.
It is a very interesting dream. I wish I had dreams like that. Mine last night was about this lake that was man made and went into all this detail about how it could have been the government using it to preform secret experiments. It was a child hood lake I use to go fishing in that turned out to be made of concrete and steel in the dream. I frequently dream about water. The only sort of symbolic dream that I have ever had has been re occuring since I was a kid, I am on a road and there is water on both sides, I am in a car and I never reach the end in the earlier parts of the dreams. Last year I reached the end and all the water was from a dam and had backed up because of neglect and lack of people. Then earlier this year I dreamed that I went into the rest of the valley that had been damed up on the lower part of the dam, it was a ghost town where the wildlife had taken back over, it was flooded in some parts, and thats all I remember.
