Did any of y'all hear about this? It happened around thanksgiving, I remember cause I was up in ohio visiting my grandma and the story was on tv. There was these apartment complexes that people were renting out entirely for the purpose of growing weed in, and they found like 80 something million dollars worth of it. I saw the pictures of the plants being taken out and mistreated, and I almost cried, it was horrible
Man that sucks. Here in MI a truck was recently busted with 3500 lbs, sucks because the northwest will prolly suffer because of both of these
yeah man, I'm fine, my shit comes from people who grow it in their houses, except for that time every once in a while when they're out and I get fuckin brick weed, which I hate, but even then that shit comes from mexico. I'm just worried for y'all up there. Plus I can't stand to see plants mishandled, it pisses me off so much
That bust didn't even make a dent. I'd say they get less than 2% of operations in the Toronto area, in my city they busted a warehouse recently that had already been busted 2 times. But it went like this, I think they found a total of 20 grow operations, 1 on almost every floor. It started out with complaints to the electric department about blackouts and brownouts and huge amounts of power being used. So they came to check it out and found 1, and after they found 1 they found another, and then another, and pretty soon they had a search warrant for the entire building. It was all owned by 1 guy, and I think the value was overestimated because I saw them weighing entire plants on TV and they were like ya this one is 2.2pounds or a street value of at least 7000$ More like 1 ounce with a value of a maximum of 280$
