Yeah I usually ask people to try vegan items and they fully know they're vegan, I make sure to advertise it. It just sucks that half the time just knowing it's vegan prevents them from giving it a try. I see what you're getting at, but I still think it's far worse to feed a vegan animal products unknowingly than to make a vegan dish & feed it to an omni, even if they don't know it's vegan. Vegans have dietary restrictions and eating meat/dairy could make them sick. There's no harm done & no dietary restrictions broken when an omni eats something vegan. But yes, generally, honesty is the best policy.
^^ thats a good point, but i feel like it's different. omni's arent carnivores. were not giving them something that they conciously don't eat or have a declared objection to. props to all you people cooking meat for others despite not eating it yourself. i had an exchange student from spain and i cooked meat for him a few times and it was hard. i almost didnt get through it. and that was only a couple times over a few week period..
yeah making meat loaf or raw chicken breasts is difficult for me...but with one perk..i remember how disgusting it is and rememebr i never wanna eat it ever again in my whole life
ever hear the word viscera in your head when prepping meat? I think you should always be honest. I had to take a friend to the hospital with a SOY allergy once.
