So do you hang out with adults and check out the pedophiles? Really man, that's pretty messed up behavior. It's cool to be different or not normal, but busting pedophiles should be left to the authorities, its just a downright disturbing thing that you are doing.

maybe you should try to know more people your age. its healthier that way...i hope the older people you know aren't like close friends of yours, thats kinda creepy. its alright to know people, but to be friends is disturbing.

 

To tell you the truth, I just can't handle many mentalities of people my age. They're too caught up in mindless bullshit... I'd rather sit it out... you know, it's kind of like a toothpaste commercial minus the toothpaste.

 

Besides, I do know people my age... I have had a friend since I was two who is the same age as I am and we seem to be drifting apart more and more because of his bullshit. He abuses his pets... that's also one reason I don't want to be involved with him. I just feel different from most people my age and don't feel like I think the same... I really don't care. Most people at school who are my age are scared of me for some reason... either that or they follow me around all the time and some are kind of creepy and stalkish.

but i'll tell you this, when i was 14, i was only interested in girls, drinking/partying, and sports. and now, i still do those things, i just added more stimulating things on as i got older, but i always found time to do the things i like the most.

 

From what I've read, as a 14 year old, you can connect more with 40 year olds than you can with other 14 year olds. Isn't this a similiar mentality that some "victims" of pedophiles have?

I read the thread that he got banned in and I would say he deserves to be banned for the rape comment, but I have to say that what those two are doing-orsino and the girl- that is just dumb and not effective. Also, a 19 year old wanting to have sex with a 14 year old is not a pedophile. I mean, think about how it was in the past, girls got married to older men when they were that age, it's only seen as wrong in todays society. A pedophile to me is someone who has sex w/very young children, not teens.

Having sexual conversations with them is only encouraging the fantasy. In one of the conversations the guy actually was saying "no, you're too young", but the girl was acting totally slutty and encouraging it. It's dumb.

 

I agree with this. This is called stautory(sp?) rape even though its often consensual. This is not a pedophile. Although if the girl was any younger it would be. It dosen't mean I'm OK with my 14 year old daughter having sex with a 19 year old(i wouldn't want her having sex at that age at all) but you get the point.
In alot of those cases the 19 year old guys are preying on the young girls.
Maybe not raping, but they know the deal on that and are probably doing it cuz they can't get it anywhere else. Maybe I'm "brainwashed" by "society" but I think guys 18/19 and up should look for girls a little more their age.

Question: How long is my "suspension"?
I didn't recieve jack about this. I got home from school and checked my inbox that had an email saying "Dude are you really banned?! That sucks!" and didnt get notice of it or anything. All I know is that I'm suspended. If its like 6 months then I'll prolly just use this one after about 3 weeks but I'll take my suspension seriouslly... Somewhat anyway. I been here almost a year now and dig most the people and would hate to get my IP banned but its whatever right?

All my point is, if I'm gonna get banned/suspended/flogged for the rape comment because it was a rape comment, then it needs to be added to the rules section when registering. I dont recall seeing a rule saying "This is a free speech site, but rape is still Taboo." Now if I got banned for flamming/trolling then I think in all fairness Orsino/Acetonephish/SoulRebel51/Edward G. also deserve to be banned for the same crime, along with everyone else on the forum who participates in said, "flamming" (you guys know who you are and god bless the wonderful work your doing ) Really the only thing I did different then George and crew was I didn't bitch. Anyway thats my side of the story... Really hope this doesnt get my IP banned (wouldn't surprise me) just because a group of 14-16 year olds continued to bug mods till they did. I Dig the site, did not recieve a warning, and was kicked off for makeing a comment... Little fairness... huh?
