I looked on Erowid and maybe i was just to lazy to read about it but it didnt answer my questions... I've heard alot about it lately and i dont understand. What is it and what does it do to U???
You smoke the leaves or better still an extract. In a bong, holding the flame on the stuff the whole time you inhale. It can give a very powerful trip but it's over a lot quicker than acid. I LOVE it!!
it is a plant whose leaves contain a hallucinogenic drug salvinorin-a which is quite unlike any other drug. it was found in the gardens of mazatecan shamans (it isnt found in nature) they use it to heal, often as a substitute for mushrooms when they are not in season. their method of ingestion is eating a rolled cigar of many pairs of fresh leaves.. salvia has become part of the drug culture, in part greatly to the fact that it is not illegal. for many years it was very obscure, few knew about it, fewer tried it. now its all over the place. and people are smoking it now. they smoke the leaves, and effects begin in few minutes and last for the twenty minutes with residual effects over the next hour. a lot of smoke needs to be consumed for most people in order to really have an intense experience such that salvia is famous for. for that reason smoking extracts are used so that only a single hit or two is needed for a trip. what is salvia like? its very very bizarre yet at the same time it evokes a strong sense of familiarity... i believe it to be somehow connected to a dreamtime continuum. salvia can give your consciousness a dream body in which you go and experience things in other lands. lands with a very strange spacial structure other people/entities present and new dimensions of time and event sequencing. while you are deep in this you may in fact forget completely of the existence of your life on earth. and as its effects wear off and you begin to recall of the existence of this dimension you begin to realize how crazy what you just experienced really was. but every moment you come down from it becomes harder to remember all the details of what you experienced, almost as if your brain is incapable in the normal state... who knows what it really is... or what it really does to you...
