This is not a thread for bashers so if you are one, leave no comment. Anywho, who here loves to listen to metal after they blaze? I love it so much. It makes the music so much more intense and I can just get into it. Also leave band names and shows you blazed at. I love the sound of some good double bass after a bowl. I enjoy Slayer quite a bit along with Unearth and Lamb of God. Let metal live on forever.
i like metal music a lot, however it's not what i listen to when im stoned. i can appreciate it though, i mean all that base must be realllllly intense when you're like a kite. i might try it sometime
any european metal? scandanavian is the best. like in flames, at the gates, etc. i like alot of the old school thrash metal like metallica and slayer.
Yeh man, Asmegin, Crytopsy, Behemoth, Opeth, Entombed all that shit. I have Swedish friends so they always send me some horrible metal. You should download Graveworms version of Fear of the Dark. Its absolutely amazing. xD When stoned i listen to reggay and shit tho, sorry
METAL, hell yah! I listen to old school thrash mostly, Nuclear Assault, Kreator, Venom, Anthrax, Sepultura, Sodom, and many more. Metal kicks ass blazed or not.
the best band when ur stoned is TOOL there is just a lot going on in there music and when ur high you can hear every single note and sound at once its intense
metal? ew. I like my hearing to much to listen to that SHIT. Rock isnt bad at all, but metal just fucking blows hard donkey cock in my opinion. Music needs FLOW..not a whole bunch of punks jumpin around onstage screaming their motherfucking lungs out with random banging of various instruments in the background. Gross.
dude uhhhhh, do you remember the southpark episode with the hippie festival, and they play slayer to drive all the hippies away and their all like "Dude buzzkillllll!"? That's basically how it is with me and metal, we just do not mix in the slightest. Try some chill ass reggae, or some classic rock, or some hip hop (i.e. the roots and brother ali, not fifty cent or any of those other bullshit commercial rap artists)
first of all, music needs talent to be made. not some beatbox with some dude flowing to it. if you try to play metal on any instrument, you will find out truly how hard it is to play. you must be thinking of some hardcore grindcore, like cannibble corpse, where its just extremely fast and extreme screaming. were talking about real good metal, not shit.
You have a very distorted view of metal. Metal is amazing when high, and I'm not gonna lie, I'm a glam metal person, I love hair metal. But I love all types of it too. My friend who was always driving loves to death Operation Mindcrime, I swear to god I've probably heard that album 400 times while high, and it grows on you.
o god...glam metal....HAIR METAL....BAHAHA...jk man some of that stuff is pretty good, like motley crue, guns n roses, and skid row
Hmm, I'm not sure if I wanna group Guns n Roses in with hair or glam metal, I love Motley Crue and all the other great hair bands, but Guns n Roses are above them.
yea your right...guns n roses was like thhe transformation from hair metal to early grunge(?)...idk what to call it, but it was the grunge band before grunge
^^^ That was my understanding too. I guess some ppl are just asses. But Cannibal Corpse is good if you like constant baby smashing heaviness. I dont just like metal when i'm baked but just a majority of the time. And I'd rather listen to metal then listen to black people degrade themselves by using ****** and motherfucker every other word. I like music with meaning, sorry.
Everyone already knows and expects "smokindude" to be a complete douche. Metal kicks ass, only im thinking in a Death / Black / Thrash / Classic form. Oh yeah.. check this shit out http://www.myspace.com/cannabiscorpseva
Black Sabbath is one of my all-time favorite bands. They are most commonly refered to as the fathers of metal. They brought the devil's third back. They represent the product of an industrial society. And plus, I must have subconsciously followed Ionni's work all throughout my years playing guitar, because our styles are alike.
