i sent in my readmission application to my school last friday. so they should have gotten it around tuesday. i want to go back for atleast 1 semester just to be with my friends before they take their commissions into the military - some aren't joining, but the majority of my close friends are and i want to spend time with them before they get sent off to training and then there duty centers. but i don't know, i just don't have an overly positive feeling right now.
Whether you get back in or not remember everything happens for a reason and I hope it's a reason that makes you happy in the long run You need to do what makes you happy and if being with your friends is it then go for it but remember that's a lot of tuition, sitting in classes, doing other work, homework and credits that may not transfer if you decide not to go back in the fall and a lot of sad goodbyes in May. I hope whatever happens is what is best for you.
thanks lyns i know everything happens for a reason. its just recently that they've been asking how i've been doing (mentally) - i've accpeted what happend in the past and i've talked to my sister about what happened, so i feel good about that....but theres a piece missing and my close friends are that piece. becuse very soon, many of them will be in the service and i know its there choice to join, but the reality is i may never have another chance to spend time with them after this semester is over. i'm pretty certain i'll transfer out and i dont' care how many credits transfer, i've accepted that and i'm ready to move on from this school
Like I said before whatever makes you happy I would have a different perspective if I were in your situation I am sure...and besides I am 25 and am taking spanish for my fifty millionth time trying to get my undergrad done...so I am a bit biased because I wouldn't wish the 8 year plan on anyone and have no room to talk or advice to give that is pertanent and not stuck in my own little way of thinking. So truely whatever makes you happy.
the pursuit of happiness...i dont' know if i will be happy or not with this choice. but i'm willing to take that step and you have plenty of good advice to give - a lot of worthy advice that i've put into action
