Wanna get sent straight to heaven? Listen to "The Way It Is" by Bruce Hornsby and The Range after you've taken a few good hits of whatever you're smoking. There's a piano solo in the middle of it, and damn, is it powerful. Really orgasmic. On another note, does anyone have any favourite songs like this with long instrumental solos? Piano is really fucking amazing. But stuff like Eric Clapton's "Cocaine" is good too.
Yes, anything by "The Books" is fantastic, more specifically the songs : "There is no There", and "The Lemon of Pink". They are experimental, and just a weird jumble of sounds and spoken word together that just make perfect sense high, but for whatever reason I just don't enjoy them at all when I'm sober, I actually find them almost depressing when I'm sober, it's hard to explain, but definitely if you haven't check them out!
