This is a question for girls with sisters, i guess. My little sister and i look nothing alike. i am 15 and she is 12, but by looking at us you would never know. i think she is further along in puberty than i am. over the summer she moved up to a real bra. my "breasts" are more like bumps and i still wear a AA bra. she is growing taller and is getting hips. Is it normal for sisters to be so different from one another? it really bothers me that she caught up to my friends before i did!
My sis and i look alike in some ways in the face our voices though you can't tell us apart. I was at my sisters house and her friend called her (male) and hes like hey whats going on? i'm like not much what about you ?? lol So how was yur day ? My day was hectic at work... meanwhile i had him on the phone for a good 20 minutes until i said wait a second i'll get er He was so embarrassed.. my sis called me a jackasslol i love it Too bad we weren't twins my sis is the total opposite of me 5'6.5 blonde hair blue eyes i'm 5'3 black hair blue/green yellow eyes but our faces are very much the same
My sister and I looked a lot alike growing up. In fact, if you look at our pictures it's hard to tell who is who in them! But as we grow older, we look more and more different. She's also larger than I am (weight-wise)...but that's because of her diet. I'm 23 and she's 16. My partner and his older brother who are two years apart look nothing alike...siblings don't always look exactly the same.
yeah, she is also a bit heavier than me which I am sure has something to do with it. i still have not had my period yet and i am sure she will probably get that before me!
I have a friend (who is a guy), who has a younger sister. The first time I saw her, I thought he had put on a wig... poor girl.
it really bugged me that my little sister was taller than I was when we were kids (I'm two years older). but now that we're in our thirties, I don't mind at all that everyone thinks she's older. I can still pass for twenty-something easily. She can't. We look very similar in the face, but she's built completely differently than I am. I have a very petite, tiny bone structure (when I was younger, I was always very thin, too). She's not only big-boned, but downright obese, and has been since shortly after puberty. Try not to compare yourself to your sister. Think instead about all of your good points, the things that are uniquely yours.
My sister and I look nothing alike. We are a year and 4 months apart, and she is the eldest. Growing up, I was an entire foot shorter than she was. When I went through puberty, I grew like a bean sprout and now I am only 2 inches shorter than she is, I have bigger breasts than her (although I played double the amount of sports she did and I have a smaller frame). People used to tease us that we had different fathers, sometimes they still do (all in good fun). My sister tans easily, is a brunette, and has gorgeous blue eyes and dark eyebrows. She looks like Katie Holmes, dimples and all. I however have red hair, freckles, green eyes and blondish-red eyelashes and eyebrows. Her limbs are different than mine too. She has slender fingers and fingernails and slim feet. My hands and feet are smaller than hers. Whenever we are together in public and meet new people, they have no idea that we are sisters unless we tell them. My brother is a splitting image of both of us. He got the blue eyes and long eyelashes, but he has the freckles and red tint in his beard. -------------------- My advice: You're only 15. Your breasts will change even after you're finished having kids. Your hips too. Your figure will change dear, and especially when you are in your early 20's. I'm actually jealous of my sister's smaller breasts, she doesn't look all boob in her shirts to me. I'm not even jealous, just happy that she doesn't have larger breasts and they fit her frame. I would rather be able to have the opportunity not to wear a bra with certain shirts, but it isn't quite possible anymore. You will fill out when you are older. My sister did, and there's not reason to be comparing your sister to your friends. She can't help what her body is doing and I bet you that she really wish that she could. Young women who develop larger breasts get a lot of unwanted attention. I remember when I was on the badminton team in high school, and a boy made a comment to my sister who was watching my practice in the bleachers. He said that he liked watching my tits shake when I smashed the birdie down low. My sister told him to fuck off and get lost - and you know what? We should be thankful that your body is the way that it is. My body is cancer free and that's more important than whatever the hell other people say about it.
I have 2 sisters, one in which could almost be my twin especially now that dyed her hair the same color as mine. It's kinda scary. And then, I have another sister who I look absolutely nothing alike. You would never be able to tell we were sisters, but then again she is only my 1/2 sister. I don't think my father's genes were very dominant because me and my sister look identical to our mother and then my 1/2 sister looks identical to her mother.
Thanks. I dunno, i feel like i have been waiting forever to get boobs and a decent figure. Usually it doesn't bother me. But since my sis started growing this past summer i have not been able to stop thinking about it! 15 is a bit old to look like a 6th grader i think. It is hard not to compare myself with her because she is my sister and i was under the impression that since we share the same genes and whatnot we would be sorta alike but you people proved that one wrong with your sister stories. But you are right, i should be happy with my body as it is. I DO have my health right? My friends tell me all the time how lucky i am that i do not have my period. that is good right?
My sister and I look a lot alike. So much so that when I turned 21 she started using me id to get into bars. My mom sister and I all sound the same on the phone my dad can't even tell us apart most of the time.
my sister is a freckled blonde cutie pie with a button nose, bigger lips, elfin face. i'm totally not.
I have a twin and we don't even look like sisters. People think we're lying when I say are sisters, let alone twins. She's shorter than me with darker hair, no boobs or butt, completely different shaped face and nose. Our eye colors are the same but thats about it. Now, my younger sister looks like a mesh between my twin and I. Amanda's height and nose, my shape face and figure, our same eye color.
Well, I have two older brothers, and while you can definitely tell we are all related, I share more resemblance with the younger of the two. We're blonde and fair whereas our older brother has dark brown hair and tans easily. I'm the tallest out of everyone though, which is kind of funny. Maybe I'll try and dig up a picture of us three..
i don't look like either of my brothers. in fact, i don't look like anyone in my family except my great grandma stormy.
Me and my older sister look very much alive, my other older one looks nothing like me and niether does my younger one!!!!
Me and my little sis look like total strangers, we even have different accents. No-one believes we're sisters! By the way wiggy... I'm so glad you and your sister look alive and not dead!!!
I'm 18 and my sister is 16, we always get mistaken for twins. I can't really see the similarity. It's fun dressing alike and pretending we are twins though. It bugs me when people think she's the eldest. Besides us looking fairly alike we are very different. She's loud and outgoing, i'm quiet and shy.
Yes, my little sister and I look a lot alike, you can definitely tell we're sisters, although she's 5'7" whereas I'm only 5'3", she's also built a little bigger than I am, and her hair is darker. I'm 28 and she's 19, but many times people think she looks like the older one of the two of us. Go figure!
No, my sister is the pretty one. She is blessed with black, curly hair, blue eyes, and beautiful skin. The only bad thing about her is that she is short. haha
