I love Johnny Depp, and I think I've seen all of his movies. Does anybody know of any totally obscure ones, that I may not have seen? He's such an a amazing actor... I haven't been disappointed yet.
I dont think he's made many obscure ones. most are pretty big budget besides "dead man". but im sure their are some. If i think of any more reply again.
i also dont know if youve seen the ninth gate. hes also got a small part in platoon. heres a list of his films from IMDB. http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0000136/
Flutterby, I also am a big fan of Johnny However, I haven't seen all his movies, only 13, but I'm going to see 2 more next week
That was a bad time in johnny's life....he couldn't help himself. He's over that now, and he'd like to forget his troublesome past. I know this because he told me so. JD and I share all kinds of secrets.
I didn't really like the Ninth Gate.... it was kind of cheesy, from what I remember.... like the dude setting himself on fire or whatever.... blah.
i saw the first 20 minutes of a majorly weird one which was written by him as well or something. i, for the life of me, can't remember the name. but he was married to some indian n they were livin on a reservation? i think?? n he goes to this weird dark ass place to get some job and the dudes are all wwwweeeird n shit and hes the camera angles are all goofy and u can see this can on beans on the table that says "fart" something on it. soooo bizarre. wat the hell was this? it was too slow moving i couldnt watch the rest.
The Ninth Gate is a great film. One of Depps best. Not everyone enjoys Roman Polanski style of filmmaking seeing they usually have a very interesting story, with great acting and lots of clues. The locations in the film are also beautiful. Id watch it again.
Yup, I like him too... Especially, The Pirates of the Caribean and The Secret Window. His acting is pretty fine, actually it`s more than good... it`s funtastic...
Wohmen should stay wit duh children and fear their husband. othervise they will be come an Americanoh type noize maker. shave dat hair cuntz
I'm sure you've seen it it, but Don Juan DiMarco from his early career is a lovely little gem of a film. (Gee, I can write a whole coherent sentence, put the punctuation in the right place, spell correctly and not utter one misogynist sentiment, obviously I'm dickless rather than a dick-head! )
Donnie Brasco, Chocolat, What's Eating Gilbert Grape?, Blow, Sleepy Hollow, From Hell, Once Upon a Time in Mexico all haven't been mentioned yet. I'm sure he has some obscure ones...
hahahah dude! he was too good. soo quirky. man i love depp. i saw this funny interview where he's comparing his character in secret garden to pirates and he goes something like yeah that character was more outward and animated etc while the one in secret window was more of....(Long silences) a... internal sort of....(silence, thinking) character. ahhahahah so deep man like the word character carries so much meaning for him! quirky. i love him.
I bet its been asked already, but I am too lazy to read all the prior pages... which of his movies is best in your opinion? I hate to admit it because it seems so cliche, but mine has to be Fear and Loathing........I loved that book so much and the movie did the original text justice...a rare thing in this day and age.
