I want to get a golf cart that works, and I don't have to worry about it being seen and the cops coming to my house. Whats the best way to do this? I don't want to steal one because of the police situation and I don't have much money to buy one! I can't find any online and I checked e-bay and google. How would you get one if you were in my situation?
Why the fuck not? They're loads of fun and you could even take a motorcycle/ATV/snowmobile engine and put it into the golf cart!

golf cart places are EVERYWHERE here.. ya meen theres not a golf cart store near you?? man ,, they start around 750 for a shitty model an go up to 5 grand .. but as i said every 50 miles here theres a golf cart retailer..
Dress yourself up in some kinda mascot costume so you are unrecognizable (a big yellow banana would be perfect) go down to the local golf course, there's bound to be golf carts being driven up and down, wrap a baseball bat around the guys head that's driving one, get in and Bob's your uncle, you have yourself a shiny new golf cart. You'll look so cool driving it home too in your banana costume tooting the little horn as you go.
If you want a fun motor vehicle just buy an old beater quad or snowmobile and learn basic mechanical skills to tune it... I bought an old dinosaur of a sled for $150 cdn and it just needed some tune up work and new gas. If you're going for speed, golf carts are relatively heavy and useless unless you want the storage space, and to go fast you want as small and light as possible. Even old crappy sleds will do 60ish mph and quads can haul ass too, both can be found really cheap in the buy and sell etc.
