well pride, like glory, is one of those things i don't understand very well. of course we all have egos and i'm not denying mine. perhapse i'm a bit 'simple' but all those kinds of things by which cultures manipulate their members leave me somewhat baffled as to their gratifying motivations or rather lack of them. now not creating conditions that make each other unhappy, that i can understand. we do after all, all of us have to share them. (even those who immagine themselves sufficiently privelaged not to, still must find themselves crossing through the common countryside from time to time).

when i see people using what is to me good sense, that makes me feel, well, a very great deal less stressed then otherwise. so if pride is something that can encourage them to do so, well then that is or would be a good thing.

i'm not sure what we're all supposed to have done or not done, i'm always replying to these things before backtracking to discouver their origen. well if we've done something good i'm glad to hear it.
