i talk to myself in my head using the third person entirely too much...im trying to change it but still... as in "u are being stupid, why r u using the word u".. in an attempt to change this i simply repeat wat i just said, saying, "i am stupid, why am i using the word u"
I wouldn't worry about it too much. As long as the voice stays inside your brain and you're not hearing it talking to you from outside your head it's probably nothing to stress over.
The previous poster is correct, in my opinion... don't worry about it. Everyone talks to themselves, all day long. If you prefer to talk in the second or third person, no big deal. If you'd rather not, then just try to be aware of it, catch yourself doing it, and you'll break the habit eventually. You aren't going crazy or anything - if you heard someone talking to you from inside your closet, then we'd have something to worry about
most of us are so mulitfaceted, why would it be a bad thing to talk to oneself in third person?....i think it provides more objectivity, especially when we're being a dumbass, lol!
