Man, I don't remember. It's been like four for me. I joined around my b-day, on the old forums, back in the dark ages.
wow, it''ll be two years for me somewhere in the beginning of february ... Congradulations for enduring us all this time
Exactly... I'm sure you understand why I feel that way too. Just hang in there brother. I'm just trying to make it through a day without dying or being in pain, lately. Think of it this way... you could be me, or you could still be in a much worse of a situation than your given one. I know it doesn't help what you're in now, but it always helps me relax a little if I know I'm not the only one out there. I'm waiting to get more meds, so I've been laying in bed for the past hour just listening to Miles Davis and staring at my eyelids, trying to wish, hope, and pray the pain away.
yeah, it's very obvious to me you're situation is worse my situation involves the typical "pussying out" sort of thing pussying out or toughing it up i suppose but of course there's way more to it than that
Well, I can understand that... but being miserable and ignoring a situation doesn't always make things better. It could make it worse or it could help, but you should give what's going to help you most, spiritually/energywise, a chance. Don't know if that relates or helps any, but I either look at things like that or look at what I need versus what I want... or compromise into both, if I can. My parents own a $2000 TV that they can't switch from mono to stereo because my dad threw the remote, one day, and the replacement/universal remote can't do it... I mean, do you really need to go out and spend that much on a tv then do that. I think it's a mentality that has gone to spoils that easily shows you that short term wants (ie: throwing the remote) can really screw things up in the long run. Besides, I'm using the same $200 TV that I've had for almost ten years... and the reason I got it is because I didn't have the AV hookups and my other screen got magnetized, somehow. I don't even watch it but at night when I'm falling asleep, and it usually doesn't stray too far from the National Geographic Channel or one of those. Doing things because you want to really gets to me, sometimes, when you figure in all the good you could have done by following needs.
i brought my tv from home, but i've yet to install the cable into my bedroom, so i have to resort to the living room tv, which is normally occupied by the roommates but when i procure my spot it varies from NGC to the Science channel to the Flix channels to FX (for that 70's show .... and .... nip/tuck ) to comedy central (mostly for the daily show and colbert report) but most of the time i just don't watch tv...because i'm too busy wasting my life here here- not here here, but the internet here
