I know this thread will appear childish and foolish to most, and I'm not gonna lie...it is.

I didn't feel well on Thursday night, so I told my parents I wasn't going to school on Friday. On Friday I started getting shakey (I get really nasty anxiety attacks sometimes), so I had a drink to calm my nerves around noon time. On Saturday and Sunday I had to stay home with my sister, because she wasn't feeling well. When she slept, I drank, and then on Sunday night I threw up from the alcohol, and my parents let me take Monday off. I drank again on Monday, and I ended up getting today off because I threw up again.

I'm working on a huge project that was due this past Friday, and I'm having a really hard time with it. I'm thinking about drinking in my room, throwing up again, and then trying to get tomorrow off. I know drinking is bad, especially at my age, but it's the easiest way for me to get out of things. Should I try it again? or Does anyone have another way for me to get out of going to school? I know I should just do the project and go to school tomorrow, but I really don't want to. Does anybody have ideas for faking an illness? I gotta get out of this!

It's too bad there aren't many hookers in my area, hahaha. My parent's aren't hard on me at all, but I need a good reason to stay home. I've been out sick since Friday, and I don't know how far I can stretch it. Btw, Ferris is my hero!

can't they smell the alcohol on you? how do you get anything done when you're drunk enough to puke? this all sounds really dubious to me.

My parent's just opened a new restaurant, so they're never home. I get stuff done, but not well. I've gotten used to doing homework while I'm either high or drunk (of course the work is shitty, but it can be done). I haven't started today yet, so I can type pretty well now.

Hahaha! I hope you don't feel better anytime soon! My favorite is Absolut, Peach Tree, Crown Royal, and Appleton Special all mixed together in an orange juice/7 Up mixture. It sounds disgusting, but it's actually not too bad. That's what I had on Friday. I love raiding my parent's liquor cabinet!

whatsit, ipecac that's supposed to make you throw up? Or your finger down your throat (which I can only do while so drunk I really should throw up to get it out of my system, thankfully)

Just fake it, don't worry about the vomiting, just say your sick.

Yeah that's the stuff! I don't have any of that on hand though. My parent's don't usually let me stay home unless I'm obviously sick (throwing up, fever, pale, etc.). I guess I could try the finger thing, but the whole idea is kinda nasty. I'll just say I'm still sick, and maybe pull the old thermometer near a lightbulb trick.

Drinking to escape problems is a sign of alcoholism.

I'm not saying you are one, but you could be.

My mom is an alcoholic (she quit drinking, but once you're an alcoholic, you're always an alcoholic) and it's a terrible to go through and to put others through.

Sounds good! The first drink I ever had (besides sips of my parent's wine) was a bottle of Smirnoff Ice. You know the regular sized party bottles? I took four bottles that were left over from a party we had at my house, and hid them in the woods. My parent's didn't expect a thing! That's when they thought I was innocent, then I showed my ex-stoner dad my weed stash and got put under house arrest.

I admit that my drinking habits are getting a little scary. I drink whenever I feel lowsy about stuff, which is often. My grandma is a major alcoholic, so I know exactly what you mean. I'm pretty sure I can control myself well enough to not have it become a problem, but thanks for caring.

Just be careful honey, I've heard similar things from my family members and there was a lot of pain. Not I'm not accusing you of anything but it might be a good idea to cut down. Alcoholism is a shitty thing. Much love. =)

Thanks for caring a_rabid_pineapple. I've been drunk/tipsy/hungover since Friday morning, excluding today. I drink alone at least three out of seven days of the week. You've all given me a much needed slap in the face. I'm gonna check out the AA meeting tomorrow at our local church. I'm not so keen on the whole "higher power" thing, but I know people there that might be able to help me out. Lots of love and many thanks to you all!

It turns out that I actually did throw up, and I didn't need to drink anything. I caught whatever my sister had, so I'm home free tomorrow. I'm still going to the AA meeting tomorrow though.
