In the 5'th grade the DARE program came to my school to teach us how bad drugs are. During the program I got a free DARE duffle bag! Now I'm in the 12'th grade and inside of my DARE duffle bag you can find. 1. a Dime of weed 2. A healthy 8th of shrooms 3. Various (illegal) pills.
I liked DARE class. It wasnt really propaganda for me at least, it was just them talking about different drugs and just say no. No lies were told.
I still have my DARE shirt, in fact I might have two of em. Funny thing, though, my old DARE officer quit the force and started X-Ray tech with my dad and now they're good friends.
Haha, speaking of irony and DARE. I was awarded 'Valedictorian of DARE' for the entire 5th grade by the officer there, haha. It was his last year as a cop in Maryland, too, so he gave me his leather police jacket. I still have it. Wow, just got a great idea! I'm gonna blaze in it on a special occasion, haha.
i wear my dare shirt quite often. everyone seems to laugh at me for some strange reason. o well. and i saw them for sale at hects i think it was.
we never had DARE, or any kind of drug awareness thing... basically it doesnt even need to be taught in schools, its clear enough how the government feels about it anyways. kids seem to learn the truth if they want to...
