One Song And I'm Already Getting This!

Okay, so my ex-girlfriend's(which by the way i'm still in love with even though i have a girlfriend and its been a few months) older brother is in a pretty popular band here. So since I know the singer pretty damn well, they (ex's bro and singer) decided they want me to open for them on New Year's Eve!

AH! I'm so excited! i have to write 3-4 songs by then though! =/

But i'm determined so its all good



And by the way i'm going to get a girl to sing for me instead cause a)i can't sing while playing guitar and b) i can't sing very well!

yea thats way cool. i have that problem too when i play i cant sing at the same time excpet if im just playing like simple chords or stuff its weird

there not like nationally famous, there pretty popular at the highschool here. The Highlifes, i'd give you their URL but they don't have music on there site. They played at this big 5 day thing in our town.

And i don't know if i should take it now, cause i have to write at least three more songs and like i know the time is going to come fast, and i don't wanna like mess up cause i don't know my songs that well because they are too new.

 

But you've got to start somewhere.... If you don't take all the chances you've got, you might regret it.

 

I'm not sure. I think i could talk them into getting me another show some other time, because the bass's sister and i, well yeah were close, and the singer and i used to talk a lot about music.
Besides if i don't get this show, my sister knows a lot of bookys, and she could get me on an acoustic day!
