how many hours do yoy spend in front of a computer

How many hours do you figure you spend in front of the computer a day, do you feel that it effects your life, do you have problems staying off of it, or what positive benefits does your computer use have besides free porn?

I just got a computer this summer, so it's all pretty new to me. I need to know all the ins and outs of online addiction and what is actually normal.

My dinner is always cold now so that is pretty much the first real indication that my screen tan may be getting out of hand.

 

Usually about two hours, on and off, per day. Some days more, some days less....

I used to be on line much more then I am anymore. I think one time I sat on here for ten hours straight... blah.....

 

Mostly on ebay.

 

all of them. when i'm not sleeping, picking up after my wife, or on rare occasion going outside to trim the garden or empty the trash or even more rarely to go for a bus ride.
well i do try to walk arround the block almost every day.

my dad used to take long walks all the time and i used to too. but then he keeled over at a relatively young age in his early sixtys so it doesn't seem to me like that it did him all that much good. on the other hand my mom, who has spent every hour she could watching television is still living indipendently at age 87.

besides there is more world on here, ok maybe not right here on hips, but on the net, then the rather depressing right-wing cespit that what is outside of and beyond my door seems like to me. (in the immediately surrounding walking distance area)

actualy i've been cutting down on my online time lately. not intentionaly, just circumstantialy. i do, do other things, occassionaly. besides the housework i've mentioned, i occasionaly get arround to model railroading. that and the main thing on the computer besides the internet i do is creating, now with blender, previously with autocad.

ach, so how MANY hours? hmmm. anywhere from 4 to, well i have found myself having been online for close to the entire 24 more then once, but anymore my eyes and back start getting mysteriously tired. mysteriously that is untill i realize how long i've been sitting here.

I'm hooked on the internet. I wake up earlier than I have to so I can check the forums and my myspace, then while I'm at school I go to the library during study and go on the net there, and then as soon as I go home I get online, and I'm usually on until at least 10:00. I love the internet! I heard somewhere that they're trying to make the internet one of the "Wonders of the World" (like the 7 Wonders of the World, or something like that). I've learned a lot on the internet that I probably couldn't have learned offline. School just doesn't teach you everything you should know if you're going to live in the modern world. I recently bought a laptop, so I'm online around 15 hours a day. The internet, and especially people on these forums have kept me up-to-date. When I was in 8th grade I started researching the wonderful cannabis plant. I researched it for three years, and then last year I finally tried it out. Getting high was one of the best experiences of my life, sans the beginner's paranoia. Since then I've had to stop due to getting in trouble with my parents, but I thank the internet for making it possible for people like you to help people like me via the forums.

 

I'm on the computer a lot. I'm in college so I use my laptop, and if there is a lull in the class I get online and chat with friends.

it's smack in the middle of my house. so every time i walk by, i get on and do something until my attention wanders...then i do it all over again. thankfully i can't sit in front of it, so i dance back and forth on my feet.

 

I'm actually behind my computer alot.

 

Hahahaha, not as much as I used to be, but still more than I should.

 

The entire time I am at home and awake, I am on the computer because, well, there is nothing better to do. It's sad, really. I am unsure how many hours though.

haha yeah most of the time. I have abstained from the tokage for a few days now, because I am trying to get a job. Fookin cannabis prohibition laws and all.
