Some of the contributors (mostly guys) seem to be venting a lot of hatred and resentment. If they hate women that much, maybe they should switch to the Gay threads. I feel sorry for some of the targets of personal attacks, and I've suggested to a site administrator that one individual be temporary suspended until he smartens up.

By the way, I used to do the same thing (doing cheap personal attacks over the internet). I got banned from a site, and I like to think I learned from the experience.
This site should be about enjoyment and friendly humour, not about calling each other bitches, whores, creeps, et cetera.

I like women. Some of my best friends are women. Even my mother is a woman!

I'm not going to get you banned. I'd like to, but I'm not a site administrator. Actually, the webmaster Skip sent me some fairly insulting mail, but I kept my big mouth shut at the time because I value this site and most of the people here, and I wish to continue my contributions. If the site administrators choose to ban you, it will be your fault. These people are very liberal and they just hate to censor people, otherwise you would have been gone a long time ago.

Is this what you do to make yourself feel better? Brag on the internet about how you think you are so much prettier than your ex-boyfriends new girlfriends and talk trash about how you think they need a make over? You are 25 right?



Honestly this is what you do to make yourself feel better? What having your nose done, your chin sculpted, your eyebrows done, your breasts worked on, cologen shots in your lips and regular botax in your forehead before the age of 25 isn’t enough to make yourself feel pretty? After all that you still have to rag on people you do not know over the internet? What about the constant tanning, manicures, thousands spent at the salon and being wisked away to tropical paradises by men old enough to be your grandfather? That isn’t enough? Or the thousand dollar hand bags or $300 designer jeans that still make your thighs look so big San Diego Real Estate developers inquire about building condos on them?



After all that you’ve done to ‘better’ yourself and feel good about being you, you still have to resort to ragging on someone you don’t even know on the internet and bloging to the world how you think you are so much prettier than them? That’s what you do for fun eh?



Lynsey, I’ve always wished the best for you. I’ve pretty much kept away and kept my mouth shut as the story is that when you and I were together, we both wronged each other. I’ve accepted that and moved on and am living an extremely happy life that is perfect for me – knock it all you want, but I have everything I could every want for myself on an individual level and am blessed to have the most beautiful, loving, sexually exciting, adventurous and hilarious partner I could ever have dreamed of. I hope you’re as lucky as I am someday to find the same.

I pretty much stay away from the forums as I have better things to do with my time these days. Its unfortunate that when I do return to read things, I find you spewing the same negative crap about me and for what?

there have been so many attacks at each other on this thread that a number of people on here need a warning, I am not prepared to go back through this and PM you all, so I am just going to do it on this thread.

Almost right from the start people got defensive with others, one problem was that people where defending themselves against being abused, however being abusive back is still not acceptable and is also breaking forum rules.

there is a big difference between saying "I think what you are saying is offensive" and saying you are "ugly within"
I repeat there is no justification in making an abusive comment against someone just because they've made one towards you, and if you do so, you are simply baiting someone and turning a discussion thread into an arguement.

on the other side of the coin, people shouldn't get abusive towards people when they have started a thread asking for a point of view, when people are trying to be honest back.
If you start a thread asking for peoples points of views be prepared that not everyone is going to think that you are doing or have done the right thing.

later on this thread was turned into an arena for people to air personal disagreements and differences between themselves, remember that even if you haven't become insulting back, if you choose to continue the arguement on a thread you are just as responsible for continuing spamming and flamming comments as the person that started it.

in a nutshell: disagreements fine, abusive and personal comments aren't.

This thread is going to be reopened, however you may well find that Heat will simply close it or delete it if she feels that it is being abused, remember when you fight and argue with each other in a thread, you are also abusing a space that someone else has created for you to express yourself in.

So remember next time you feel the urge to make personal negative comments to someone (what ever the reason) you might as well be doing it to the whole of the forum and the person who has created the space (in this case Heat) moderators put a lot of work into maintaining a safe place for people to post in and have to put a lot of work into amending threads when people break the rules

 

I am sorry that I had to edit out some posts that were in no way offensive but needed to be removed to maintain continuity of the thread when I removed the offensive ones. So because you see your post removed, please do not think it was what you might of posted.

I am hoping that this does not happen again, if so I will just wipe the whole thread and that would be a shame as there is some really good information in this thread and many people have been helpful on here.
