This came out so cute! Made from two contrasting prints and of course it has puffy mutton sleeves! The lower part of the top has squiggly white zigzag lines. No matter how many pics I took it ended up looking all blurry like. This came out better than I expected it would considering it's made of stretchy lace. The sewing machine didn't eat it! I even managed to serge the seams neatly. I used an old t-shirt pattern, took the sleeves off a pattern with puffy sleeves and added bands to the bottoms of the sleeves.
This top rocks if I do say so myself. Made from fabric I got in a big bag at Goodwill. I used the old t-shirt pattern I used for the black lace top and the sleeves from the first top. I kind of guessed at the bottoms of the sleeves because I wanted them too be tight. It has a strip of the black lace too. I have to say I love 80's clothes as much as I love hippie clothes. Reminds me of when I was a kid.Everything's available on my web site www.smilingfrogs.comAlthough if the striped top doesn't sell in a week or so it's mine
Thank you!! I might keep that one for myself. Although I unfortunetly need the money more. Doesn't that suck when you can't afford to keep the clothes you make?
i hear ya..im always tryin to peddly my junk cuz i need the cash.... im currently using all my profits for my ireland trip tho..so thats a nice incentive!
