    Hey there.

Is anyone here a part of the Native American Church or simular? I was curious as to how often you a part of their community and what you do. I'm slowly doing more research on this and as I am one quarter (Chinook and Tutuni) there was a small chance that I'd want to persue more.

We did have a native cultures forum in the last version of the forums, but it pretty much had died, so I didn't revive it.

Hey what's up...I'm a Dine and born for the the Wazage tribe, just thought I'd encourage you to fiind out about the medicine through the NAC, there are so many fire places and so many variances in the the way ceremonies are conducted. There are rules in this way, please respect the medicine which is the bottom line. So many beautiful tribes have relied on this way of life even for it to be possible to be alive today and have survived the atrocities of the foreigners. I myself help out in the community by offereing a helping hand to put up tipis, and get firewood which is always needed in the ceremonies. Usually clean up before and after ceremonies is very appreciated by any NAC Chapter. IF were you I would start listening to some peyote songs that you can finid online or even get some videos about the native american church. There are some good documentaries, one good start is to roll a tobacco anyway you know how and call this medicine in your life. Usually that's a good start. Anyways hit me up if you want, I only attend open door ceremonies.

    Thanks for the information.
I have no problems obtaining San Pedro so if Mesc was the actual desired outcome, there's always that route. I was more interested in learning about a culture/religion that uses a psychedelic and what benefits have been aquired from experience.

As a general rule I see 98-99% of all organized religions as worthless, illogical, useless and sometimes harmful to the believer and those who do not.

I will jokingly refer to joining a religion just to use a psychedelic but that's my mask of pain in the fact one must "join" some type of belief system just to use a substance.
